Notes on the rendering of personalisation, copyright and trademark law
The graphic elements (so-called patterns) that you download are your responsibility in terms of graphic rendering, our system can, if necessary, alert you to a pixel definition too small of a file. We recommend loading your photos, logos, jpeg, tiff, pdf HD (resolution 300 dpi) or with the exception of png format (don’t favor this format). Lavigne cannot be held responsible for a pixelated rendering of a graphic pattern if it does not comply with these recommendations, mentioned above.
To be able to download your graphic patterns on our customization platform, you must have all the rights to use and reproduce on this pattern (photographs, drawings or logos). To find out the rights of third parties on a ground, ask for the legal status of the ground or try to obtain an unqualified right to use. If in doubt, you should forego using the motive to avoid any infringement of copyright, trademarks or person. The use of specific typography is also subject to licensing. We point out that the use of trademarks or logos of known companies comes back regularly and constitutes an infringement of the trademark rights of its holder.
If third parties assert their rights with Lavigne because of copyright or industrial protection rights, you will be required to exempt Lavigne from any claim.
